The journey began with a dream in March 1999. It wasn’t just an ordinary dream—it was a divine signal, a Mandate that would shape my spiritual walk and ministry. That dream was later reaffirmed and expanded through a series of powerful encounters that have continued to guide my path.
In 2007, I experienced another significant dream that deepened my understanding of the earlier revelation. I found myself in a barge anchored at a seashore, which also housed a fellowship group. While standing at the entrance, I accidentally fell into the sea. I cried out for help, but no one came immediately. Then, an elderly man appeared, jumped into the water, and rescued me. He took me deep beneath the sea and later helped me resurface. He instructed me to swim to shore, which I did. I joined a fellowship team waiting there—his team. But to my surprise, he asked another person, not me, to share the Word. As that person was about to speak, I woke up.
These spiritual dreams became the foundation of what I now call my Wilderness Walk—a divine assignment to preach the Gospel in its totality. I began to understand that when a person is not in the right place, the purpose of God for their life may not be fully realized. Destiny can be compromised if not aligned with God’s planned path.
When analyzed deeply, that third dream revealed that the time had come—whether to serve as a subordinate preacher or to begin a full ministry. I was reminded of Ezra 1:1–10, where God’s prophetic word was fulfilled at the right time with the necessary provisions. Similarly, the timing of my Mandate is God’s alone.
Interestingly, this article itself was inspired by a dream 14 years ago. In that dream, I saw a book I authored displayed in a bookstore beside works by renowned figures like Benny Hinn, Joyce Meyer, Nelson Mandela, and D.G.S. Dhinakaran of India. I never imagined that time would be now.
Though space limits me, I will briefly share a few powerful testimonies that validate the reality of this Mandate.
Testimonies from the Wilderness Walk
1. Spiritual Attacks and Victory in Jesus’ Name
Upon beginning my Bible College training, a local church covertly used a new convert to invoke the Hindu god Krishna to attack me in my sleep. I overcame the attack by calling on the name of Jesus. In the dream, I recognized the attacker as a close associate of the assistant pastor. The attack stemmed from my refusal of a secret marriage offer, which was tied to my scholarship. That incident eventually led to the death of a beloved 17-year-old church member—a painful loss I will never forget.
Despite the conflict, the church allowed me to complete my theological training.
2. Defeating Spiritual Forces
I continued to experience—and overcome—demonic manifestations in dreams, including from deities like Ganesh and Buddha, all in the name of Jesus. Eventually, the church acknowledged my prophetic gift, even though there had been resistance initially. The Holy Spirit, who entrusted me with the Mandate in 1999, continues to reveal demonic plots before they manifest, giving me power to destroy them.
3. Prophetic Fulfillments
- Nigeria’s 2023 Presidency: In 2019, I saw Bola Ahmed Tinubu mocked and humbled by fellow party leaders, including Buhari and Rotimi Amaechi. That humiliation marked his path to victory. In 2023, I saw the APC flag lifted to heaven during a Redeemed Christian Church of God meeting, where Pastor Adeboye was to receive it. Just days before the election, I saw Tinubu cleansing Aso Rock, confirming his destiny. I publicly declared him winner—and it came to pass.
- USA 2024 Elections: I received two visions confirming that Donald Trump would win. In one, I saw his face in a mirror; in the other, his head was suspended between two electric wires on a NEPA pole. The spiritual interpretation of these visions confirmed his return to power.
Understanding Dreams and Visions
Dreams and visions determine many unseen battles in our lives. Without the prophetic gift of the Holy Spirit, one may never know how much is shaped while we sleep. Over the past 24 years, I have carried out numerous deliverances through divine revelation. Here are a few more testimonies:
- A child’s stunted hand began to grow after I rebuked ancestral spirits in Jesus’ name during a spiritual fight.
- A woman who had not delivered by the 11th month of pregnancy gave birth peacefully within 24 hours after I prayed and saw the spiritual blockage removed in a vision.
Final Word
Dreams are not just images; they are spiritual messages—tools of divine direction. Your enemies may no longer be physically alive, but the spirit behind them can continue to fight your destiny. That is why prophetic guidance, dream interpretation, and deliverance are essential in this age.
